Are there any extra charges in case of late arrival?
On journeys collecting from an airport, as standard, UK Airport Taxi allows all passengers 45 minutes maximum from the time the flight actually lands to meet with their driver. After this, waiting time is charged, regardless of the reason, at £20/hr pro rata. To ensure your journey is as smooth as possible, we advise passengers to consider immigration processing times at airport and request for a deferred Pick up/collection time after their flight lands. Please note that:
- • No compensation will be offered if the passenger is ready earlier than planned and has to wait until the scheduled collection time for the driver to arrive.
- • No responsibilities for costs are to be refunded to any passengers who do not wait for their driver and take alternative transport.
Are there any limitations regarding the number of passengers or luggage?
Our fleet of airport transfer cars and minibuses provide a range of options to suit your needs, whether you’re a solo traveller, family unit, or corporate team. Depending on which vehicle you’re interested in booking, there are limitations to the number of passengers and luggage capacity, as follows:

How much is the cancellation charge?
UK Airport Taxi will not charge over the cancellation of the ride, and guarantee 100% * refund, as long as 3 hours’ notice is provided before pick up time. All cancellations must be made online or via an email, to which you will receive confirmation by us. If you do not receive an email from UK Airport Taxi confirming the cancellation, then it may mean that we have not received your email. In this case, please call our customer services team. No refund will be issued in the following circumstances;
- No refund is made if the passenger does not show up for pre-paid journeys.
- No refund is made for cancellation of a booking with where less than 3 hours’ notice before pick up time is provided.
- No refund is made if the passenger is uncontactable at pick up time for pre-paid journeys.
Do you monitor Flight Delays?
UK Airport Taxi monitors flight delays, but only accommodates flight delays up to a maximum of 45 minutes. Whilst we do try our best to accommodate our customers impacted by any flight delays above 45 minutes, we cannot guarantee a pickup due to our company’s operational capacity at that time.
In the particular instance of a flight delay of above 45 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel your booking where we could not accommodate your delayed pickup, and cannot be held legally responsible. If we do cancel your booking due to flight delay of above 45 minutes, you are entitled to a full booking refund only. We are not liable to pay any additional charges that you may incur for arranging any alternative transport once we cancel your booking.
Do you provide a Baby Car seat?
We do provide a child car seat as a courtesy service. Whilst we make every effort to ensure child seats are available, we cannot guarantee suitability for your child, or availability for your journey. Usage of child seat is entirely at the passenger's discretion, and we cannot be held responsible or liable for their usage. Please note that the UK Law for “Child Car seats” is different if the child is in a taxi or minicab. If the driver doesn’t provide the correct child car seat, children can travel without one – but only if they travel on a rear seat.
What is a Meet & Greet Service?
Meet and Greet Service saves you the time and stress of finding your taxi at the airport. Your Driver will be waiting in the arrival hall holding a sign with your name to greet you.
How do I find my driver at the Airport?
Normally there are pickup and drop off zones at each airport and there are many signs to direct you to the pickup zone. However, our driver will also call you on your landing and will let you know where to make your way to.

Is there any waiting time charge at the airport?
