Route out — M4 / A4 to Central London
The standard route out of Heathrow is M4 east → exit at Junction 3 → A4 east into Central London. Off-peak journey time is 48 minutes, rising to 75 minutes during weekday rush hour (7–9am and 3–6pm).
For drop-offs in east or south-east London, the driver may use the M4 → M25 anti-clockwise → A2 / A12 depending on live traffic.

Standard routes: West and central London drop-offs run via the M4 → A4. South London drop-offs (Wimbledon, Croydon) use the M25 → A3 or A23. East and south-east London (Stratford, Greenwich) route via the M25 → A12 / A2.
