I have used this company for airport transfers for a number of years now and I continue to use them because the service provision is professionally managed, always punctual and safely driven in every respect. The administrative side of the operation is effective and efficient and easy to follow, providing a telephone and email service for notification, payment, booking reminder and arrival alert. Booked 12 hrs prior to needing the taxi, requested two car seats on online form and double checked quickly via email. The taxi was really easy to find and on time, the car was super clean and the car seats were for the correct ages, clean and ready to use. A pre-booked taxi to T2 drops you at the Terminal 2 departures forecourt on Level 5, accessed via the up-ramp from Constellation Way. Your driver pulls into the kerbside drop-off lane, you unload, and they pull away within Heathrow's 10-minute forecourt limit.
T2 sits in the Central Terminal Area alongside T3. From the M4, exit at Junction 4 and take the M4 spur road to Junction 4a, then go straight through the Heathrow tunnel. Exit the tunnel and follow signs for Terminal 2 onto Constellation Way, then up the ramp to the forecourt. From the M25, exit at Junction 15, join the M4 east towards London, then follow the same approach. Postcode for satnav: TW6 1EW.

T2 splits Star Alliance carriers across five zones at the Level 5 check-in hall:

For short-haul Star Alliance flights (Lufthansa to Frankfurt, Aer Lingus to Dublin, Brussels Airlines to Brussels, ITA Airways to Rome), leave home 2.5 hours before your flight. For long-haul (United to Chicago, Singapore Airlines to Singapore, Air Canada to Toronto, ANA to Tokyo, Turkish to Istanbul), allow 3.5 hours. We schedule your pickup backwards from your check-in deadline, factoring in the M4 spur and Heathrow tunnel approach.
Heathrow does not allow private hire pickups on the T2 forecourt as this area is drop-off only. Every taxi collects from the Terminal 2 Terminal Parking (formerly Short Stay) car park, connected to the arrivals building.
International arrivals and baggage reclaim are on Level 1 at T2. Clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow signs to Terminal Parking (also signposted as Short Stay). The car park is on the same level as arrivals which is around a 2-minute walk across the connecting walkway. Your driver waits free of charge at Heathrow's Authorised Vehicle Area on Northern Perimeter Road until you call. They then enter T2 Terminal Parking and meet you at an agreed level and bay.
Heathrow's free _Heathrow Wi-Fi covers all four terminals. Connect as soon as you land at T2, register with your email, and keep WhatsApp open. Your driver can call or WhatsApp you over WiFi at no charge. They will tell you the exact level and bay in T2 Terminal Parking to meet at as it varies depending on availability on the day.
The clock starts when your flight touches down at T2, not when you booked. You have 45 minutes free to clear Border Force, collect bags and walk to the pickup point. The T2 Terminal Parking fee is already in your fixed quote. So is the £7 drop-off charge if your return leg also uses Heathrow.
Add meet & greet at the booking stage. Your driver parks in T2 Terminal Parking, walks into the T2 arrivals hall, and waits with a name board from the moment you land. The standard meeting point is near the central seating area opposite international arrivals on Level 1. Particularly useful for early-morning Star Alliance arrivals. United from Chicago and New York, Air Canada from Toronto, ANA from Tokyo, and Singapore Airlines from Singapore all land at T2 between 5am and 9am UK time.

T2 sees heavy demand from the Midlands and East Midlands — Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Northampton and Milton Keynes are all classic pickup zones for early-morning Star Alliance flights to Frankfurt (Lufthansa), Chicago (United), Toronto (Air Canada) and Istanbul (Turkish Airlines). T2 fares from these cities are identical to T3 (same M4 J4 approach via the Heathrow tunnel) and will differ slightly from T4 (south-side access via the A3113) and T5 (M25 J14 dedicated spur).
Taxis pick up from Terminal 2 Terminal Parking (formerly Short Stay) — on the same Level 1 as T2 arrivals, around a 2-minute walk via the connecting walkway. Heathrow does not allow private hire pickups on the T2 forecourt. Your driver calls or WhatsApps you with the exact level and bay once you're heading out.
A fixed-price saloon taxi to T2 from Central London is £95 for up to 4 passengers, covering around 15 miles via the A4 and M4. Journey time is 48 minutes off-peak, up to 75 minutes during weekday rush hour. The £7 Heathrow drop-off charge is included.
All 23 Star Alliance carriers operate from T2 — including Lufthansa, United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Air Canada, ANA, Turkish Airlines, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, SWISS, LOT Polish, EVA Air, EgyptAir, Air China, Asiana, Ethiopian, Air New Zealand and TAP Portugal. Aer Lingus and ITA Airways (joined March 2026) also use T2.
For short-haul Star Alliance flights (Lufthansa to Frankfurt, Aer Lingus to Dublin, Brussels Airlines to Brussels, ITA Airways to Rome), arrive 2 hours before departure. For long-haul (United to Chicago, Singapore Airlines to Singapore, Air Canada to Toronto, ANA to Tokyo), arrive 3 hours before. Add 30 minutes if checking oversized luggage.
We track your flight from departure to landing. If you land early, the driver is already at Heathrow's Authorised Vehicle Area. If you land late, the pickup time shifts automatically — no extra charge, no phone call needed. You also get 45 minutes free waiting time once your flight touches down.
